Cervello's music speaks volumes and marks the start of what some believe is sure to be the beginning of a new and changing modern rock world of tomorrow. No doubt that this fiery melding of high energy rock warrants immediate attention.

All four band members have been immersed in the music scene for some time, playing in different groups prior to being drawn together by sharing the same vision and dreams. Cervello burst onto the Stockholm club scene a couple of years ago when singer/guitarist Michel Baioni initially formed and started to shape the band.

With all due respect to the other bands, it was clear to all that there was an incredible energy, chemistry and sense of musical style that they could not deny ...and that made guitarist Martin Boghard, bass player Will Creek and Michel's brother, drummer Tony Baioni to commit and become the ultimate line up of Cervello.

It's something magical, in the pursuit of creating music that satisfied their collective hunger. This foursome of revered musicians, have collectively tapped into their creative depths to produce a sound that makes modern rock roll.
Michel Baioni's influences ranges from soul to hard rock and his intensely emotive vocal delivery set the tone, creating memorable verses and choruses that won't let go. He sings with a relentless intensity and feeling that leaves listeners deeply moved. Combined with the guitar attacks from Boghard to drive home razor edged riffs and melodic tunings that always serves the songs and polishing off the sound is the rhythm section of Tony Baioni with his groove-heavy drum styling, and Creek's nimble, spotless bass playing.

2008 was a great year from Cervello, steady building and increasing their fan base and with amazing feedback from listeners, live attendees and industry professionals. In December the band ended on top in the Bandit Unsigned competition. Bandit 106.3 being the biggest and most influencial rock radio station in Sweden. This competitions first price being to record a single at Gain Studios (Hardcore Superstar) in Gothenburg, and to be released with Cosmos Music Group. The single; "Stay And Bleed", released in March 2009, gained a-play rotation on Bandit and is still a frequently played song. Cosmos Music Group decided that they wanted to continue the relation with the band and in the spring/summer of 2009 a multi album deal was agreed and in the late fall/ early winter of 09 the band entered the studio to cut the bands debut album with producer Henrik Edenhed (Dead By April, Robyn, Teddybears sthm, Fibes oh Fibes, Oh Laura).

The band was also very honoured to get the opportunity to record two songs written by two great songwriters: Max Martin (Cause I Am) and John 5 (First Time). The passion and the feeling for the songs were so strong that they directly became favorites when it was time to pick out singles. Henrik was good pushing the band to their limit, the result after tons of sweat, broken amplifiers and a huge amount of broken cymbals, turned out to be a modern rock sound with a big punch in the face, combined with heavy riffs and intensive vocals with a seductive simplicity. Songs that musically and lyrically containes a clear hook that captures a wide range of listeners, which was exactly what the band was aiming for.

The self titled debut will be released on October 31, 2011 and will be preceded by the single "Cause I Am".
